Buying a CPO ISF 2012
Hi,
Been on the forum forever. But I think I am ready to join the family.
I found this CPO-ISF. I contacted them and they recently did the rear brakes and oil change. They told me the previous owner service with them religiously. I feel the price is on the high side, but there is no other CPO ISF in 150 miles within me. Don't know if this is a fair price.

That's kind of high. You missed a 2012 NGP with an extended warranty platinum . From a former F owner on the forum had less miles and mods on it. Try them to go 37k ish lol

Hey! This is the one in the show room. I took a look at it, and fell in love with the color combo. The car was very clean, I did not look at the carfax or anything though. While it is overpriced a little to me, I think they would definitely work with you. I absolutely loved everything about that car, if you need anything else let me know!

It is very high price with the miles on it but it's probably priced like that just because it's a CPO. Here would be my strategy for the car. I would search online for the next closest '12 with lower or similar miles and lower price. Print out that ad and bring it in to the dealership when you go to negotiate. Tell them that you are ready to buy the car TODAY and that you have already negotiated a price with another dealer for a similar car at a lower price, show them the ad of the other car at the lower price and tell them you would rather buy this car because it's closer, preferred color, etc. but that they need to come down closer to the price of the other car you are about to buy today. I think this strategy might get them to budge on the price if they see you are serious about buying when you walk in.

Here's a 2012 with less miles for $36,888 in Santa Clara.

According to Car Gurus the car you are looking at in Escondido is listed at $3,000 over market.

im sure you can get them down to around 37k. I bought my 2011 last march with 40k miles. it was posted for $40k, I was able to talk them down to 35k, I even walked out because I wasn't going to pay more than 35k. they kept going lower and lower, first by 2k, then by 500 at a time then 200, then I said no more BS, if you cant get me 35k and im out, but if you can I will sign today. I started my truck and was backing out the parking lot and the sales man called me back and said we got a deal. I was able to get them down 5k from asking price. Good luck with the purchase and stay strong!

I offered $33k and it was sold at auction for $33.7. Member in here later bought it for $36k I think
