Key battery low warning on dash
I have a 2014 IS350 AWD F Sport. Been getting the low key battery on the dash every once in awhile. Anyone have this issue? I'm going to hit up the dealership to replace them both under warranty. How would you get in the car or start it with a dead fab battery??? Is it possible even?

yes, it's possible. you have to hold the key fob to the underside of the steering column and then press the start button. that should get you started one or two times as you look for batteries at radio shack or something. as for getting in the car, there is the physical key attached to the fob. i had to do this when i had my 2IS but have yet to do this with my 3IS, thankfully.
as an aside, the dealership is going to charge a hefty markup on the battery replacement. you can find them much cheaper and install them yourself.

With my 2nd gen IS i rotated the keyfobs every 6 months and changed the battery once a year. I planned to do the same thing with my 3IS. I didnt know there was a warning light. On the F sport where is the light? Any picture?
