Default Air and Oil Separator

Im wondering if RR Racing Is the only company that produces this type of product. searches on web have found little to nothing. not bashing RR...... will more then likely get the RR Intake and Air and Oil Separator and tune all at once.

A couple of CL members have made their own. The RR kit is plug & play.

+1 for plug and play. Took me 10 minutes to install mine.

I own the one from RR racing and no complaints here. I installed it about 5 months ago which I have only empty it once which I am pretty pleased this one is doing its job.

The RR AOS is very nice. Coming from STI and Evo with big turbos I would always have an AOS or two on them and would go with a Plug and Play option for each platform, but none of them was so well made and so cheap pricewise as RR. Crawford, GrimmSpeed, Cusco they were much more expensive.

I do get it about half-way filled with 20min sessions on the track, so I guess it works as otherwise it'd be in the intake.

Kinda off topic but was curious:

i know the rr aos is easy plug and play.
but lets say i take it to get serviced at the dealership and i forget to remove it, will having the aos void any part of my warranty (regarding the engine)??

and hmmm never heard of radium eng. aos guess i gotta do more research

for it to void any warranty they must prove that the part you installed was in direct relation to the part failing.

If it leaks air and detonates because it is running too lean, yes, it will indeed void your engine warranty. If you're going to run something like this be absolutely certain all the lines are properly connected and not leaking air. You can get away with a small leak and the ECM will help save you, but if you have a major failure and don't act quickly, you will definitely not be a happy camper.

I made my own using Radium Engineering cans, I could have used one but instead I used two because I can. No disrespect to RR Racing but I personally think they could revisit this product and improve it in many ways, after all look at how the supercharger kit turned out (larger diameter lines to match factory flow, better quality lines/fittings to name a couple).

Anyways here is my setup and what I pulled out of the cans after 6 months roughly.

2012 ISF 90,000kms, 3500ft elevation (for what it matters), daily driven year round, fairly conservative driver.

So what would you have RR revisit on with their AOS. I'm sure I speak for many folks here.

Using proper hose/lines rated for oil/fuel, using quality fittings(cheap feeling)/hoses...to name a couple...as I said above. Although mine is not plug n play Ive had tons of PMs about it...I did my entire setup in roughly 5 hours including weld time.

What would a set up like yours cost?
