Default Now taking preorders: 50MM Front Fenders, Vented AND Non-Vented!

Hi All,

We've recently been hard at work on our newest project: 50 millimeter wider front fenders!

for those of you who have not had the pleasure of dealing with us in the past, here is some background:

Who is APT?

For over 40 years our KBD product line has been fulfilling consumers needs for the highest quality polyurethane parts at the lowest prices.

Why Polyurethane?
Polyurethane allows production of durable components unlike fiberglass (FRP) that can easily break upon impact. Polyurethane is highly flexible and therefore more resistant to damage. Not only is polyurethane less prone to damage, Polyurethane is much less likely to exhibit issues typically associated with FRP, such as pinholes and other imperfections which increase the prep time (and cost) prior to paint and installation.

Why APT?
Every part we make is manufactured with the highest quality at our facility in Brea, California. Because we manufacture in the United States, we are able to take quality control to the highest level. Every part is individually inspected three times before leaving our facility! This leads us to our Limited Lifetime Warranty. If your part breaks or does not fit properly, due to manufacture defect, we will replace the part free of charge, or issue you a FULL refund. We want our customers to know we are an American made company that will stand behind each product we build.

Now on to the deal:

We will be offering our 50MM front fender in vented AND non-vented styles for the same price of: 450.00 SHIPPED within the U.S... IF FIVE OR MORE MEMBERS PREORDER THE PRICE DROPS TO 400.00 shipped!
All paid in full orders will begin shipping the last week of November (28th-2nd) via UPS ground, with tracking number provided. All shipments will be insured.

In order to qualify for this pricing you MUST place a minimum deposit of 100.00. This preorder pricing will be valid until the 25th of November, so you have until then to place your deposit.

If Interested in purchasing these please PM us or post your PayPal email below so that we may send you an invoice!

Thank you!

Not at this time, we're already in the process of making the molds

Unfortunately not. Polyurethane has a certain ammount of shrinkage during the curing process that we have to account for, the molds are in a sense made larger than the actual size the part will end up being. If we tried to make a carbon fender it wouldn't fit the car .

Can't wait to see the finished product. If it's anything like your other work, it's going to be awesome!

We're going to go 50mm wider in the rear. Unlike other overs for the SC though these will go from the door hinge to the tail lights. other over-fenders fall short of lining up, which in MY personal opinion makes it look incomplete.

Default 50MM Vented Front Fender

Definitely feeling the vented FF. Being made of polyurethane, how will it hold its shape? I would think this needs to be very stiff or it will mis-shape over time. Also, could a simple leaning on the fender cause it to cave in? Needing to understand this better. Liking the look a lot though.

Default Poly fender?

Interested but same concerns here. Are they just as soft as the kits? Will these be reinforced with anything to keep their shape intact.
