It's a wrap. So far, so good. Painting is the most durable and cleanest solution. I chose convenience and good enough.

I'm sure it's like installing window tint. You can do it yourself but unless you have a lot of experience applying it then it will be done much better if done professionally and probably last longer too.

it's way easier to work with than tint, only hard part is cutting. I've wrapped my mustang by myself 3 times now.

I've used vinyl to wrap my trim. Painting would be too much work.

the RC-F crowd is not that helpful since it's a new platform and most of the owners probably have never wrenched on their own cars their whole life. there are more unhelpful answers than good ones.

I guess ill start making DIY threads for this subsection .

There's some truth there.

But I've seen a lot of bad DIY jobs from people who have wrenched their own vehicles. The worst part is when they thought it was good. I've seen a few on these forums, but not as many since a lot of owners don't do it themselves. Heck, I don't even do it myself anymore unless I can justify the time/cost ratio. My free time is worth a lot more to me than it is probably worth to some others. DIY is for when you have a lot of free time, or little money.

i work 70 hours a week but put more about 80 hours into my career. I understand that time is money but some members have time to post on here and make build threads yet they don't like to share where they got something or sizes of offsets for example. I'm all for letting people use the search button but some of these rc-f guys are real ******. ill never let these members persuade what car to buy of the way they act but part of me wished i should o skipped the RCF and straight to a new GTR of how much more active the GTR forums are.
