Default whalels400 - My 1998 Ls400 Vip project :)

Hello Club Lexus.
I recently sold my UCF10 and purchased a UCF20.
It was nothing special.
BC Coilovers with 22k and 18k swift springs.
Megan control arms
Megan rear toe arms
Weds LXZ 18x8 18x9 215/40/18 225/40/18

Anyways.
I had the car for about 2 months now and figured I would make a Club Lexus account to show my progress to others.

This is the day I went to look at the car.

Black interior

First thing I did when I brought it up was clean the headlights. I used 1000/3000 sand paper, and plastx to polish.

Much better.

I decided to start working on the interior first. With that being said...

I picked up 4 Junction produce neck pads from Vipdout and got my hands on some Celsior half lace seat covers. I dig them.

Diamond stitched center console. Thanks again to my buddy Tra!

More JP goodies. What do you guys think about the Luxis shift ****?

While I wait for my junction produce curtains. I decided to finally clean my fogs to prepare myself for what I have coming next.

love the interior, but the rest i say is best left stock. i changed mine around a bit to see what would happen and it's definitely not as good as when it was stock. it corners a bit better in high speed turns but the wonderful LS ride quality isn't what it was. everything with the interior is dope but i say stop there. i know you're still gonna slam it but i imagine the roads where you are don't get nearly as screwed up as they do up here but that's just my recommendation.

Good start. Do whatever you want, it's your car.

That said, taste is subjective and but safety isn't, do whatever it is you do properly and try to not rig too much stuff .

the FAQ are your friend, and are stickied at the top of the forum.

Nice ride.
How did you get the rear center console on? Is that a part you custom made? Or is that a OEM part?

Nice stance. Interior is optional to taste.

Got it from a friend of mine. He also made the tables for me. It slides right in and doesn't move around or anything 👍🏻

first time I've seen lace interior on a 98-00 model. looks great! how many miles are on the car? I always recommend doing maintenance first before spending chedda on mods. a nice looking car is worthless if it can't even drive properly or worse leave you stranded. keep us updated on your progress!

185k miles. Of course! Maintenance is most important. I did do the minor things like oil change, sparks, etc. I do plan on doing the timing belt and water pump soon.

Thanks! and meh. I think it's a good size but of course it can be easily removed.
