Square 18x8 48mm+ - Is offset okay?
Hello, looking at some Looking at a deal on some OZ Ultraleggera rims for a winter setup.
Does square 18x8 48mm+ work on our cars? Wondering if you would hit the strut or shocks with such a +48mm offset

Yes winter with some Blizzaks W80. It gets kinda wobbly when accelerating hard and at higher speeds a bit unstable at times, but whose gunning it on public roads with snow on the ground...

with VSC and TRAC off, the ISF is a blast in the snow. I'm on winter #3 with the ISF as a daily driver. I also run 225/45/18 on 18x8 wheels,, I think the offset is a little lower on mine tho, possibly +45.

one thing i envy from california is the weather but dislike everything else lol anyways back on topic. my wheels are 18x8 40+ and they work fine. i also take traction control as it is a little intrusive when it loses traction but not as bad as my old is300 used to be. overall the car handles really well in snow.
does any one have this issue in snow when you come to a complete stop and the car moves a little bit forward?

I run 225/45/18 in winter, they work fine, the only issue I have in winter sometimes is when the car is cold and I'm at the stop in drive , my rear wheels start to slip with the brakes on, I have to throw it in Neutral in first few minutes until car warms up and my Rpms drop a little.
If I go hit a drive-thru for coffee or stuck in stop n go traffic, sometimes I'll just put the car in neutral, just to make sure it doesnt skid forward.
