Is there an easy way to remove the rear seats from a 2003 SC430? My wife and I have been going to Panama City Beach for December, January and February for the last few years. We have been driving her Prius V which has a good amount of luggage space. this year we are thinking of driving the SC430 and the luggage space will be limited. Of course we would load the with the top up and keep it up until we arrived in Florida and unloaded the car. I was thinking that removing the back seats would afford us a little more packing space.

The backseat is pretty easy to remove, I can do it and I'm a moron.

But you would gain a couple of inches at most. The thin back seat just hangs in front of structural steel.

Back seat removal is very simple. DashingDar posted the exact instructions that you need. You can have it all out in 15 - 20 minutes.
