96 ES300 knock sensor
I have a 96 ES300 and it drives great shifts great and overdrive works great but it's throwing up the bank 2 knock sensor. I have been reading all these replies and people are saying if it's out then your car starts to act funny. But mine is acting great. Is there something else that could be the problem with my car? If I really don't have to replace I would rather not. Can someone please help me! I have to smog it soon and I can't with this CEL on. And I have deleted the light but once I start to drive it kicks back on pretty quick.

should i run the car a few miles after I fill it up to make sure it has made its way through the system, and then delete it? What should I do if this doesn't work?

Ideally you should fill it up with high octane fuel when its almost empty. Than drive it at least 25 miles or so, and erase the code.
Lets see what happen than.
