Vinyl Wrap. What do I need to know?
Hey guys. I have a black 20414 350 f sport and I've been wanting to wrap it for a long time now. I want to go with 3M material and I'm considering 2 colors. matte White, as I have the rest of the car blacked out.
however...I also am leaning towards matte black wrap. As we all know, the lines on this model are so aggressive, I feel it would literally look like a batmobile if I did matte black and go matte black on the rims. Just completely dark.
So my questions are:
1. What kind of care does a vinyl wrap car need to not damage the main paint underneath?
2. What concerns should I consider when having a wrapped car? example, car washes, being out in the sun all day (I don't have underground or garage parking)
3. If you have had a matte black wrap, or know someone who did, does it get dirty just as easy as standard gloss black paint? This is the main reason I want to wrap. I can't take seeing my baby dirty in 3 seconds after I wash.
P.S. I'm not doing this job myself. Paying for it for sure.
Thank you!!
