08' GS350 Player swap into 06' GS300
Hi guys. Just wondering, will I be able to swap a player 2008 GS350 (used from ebay) to my 2006 GS300? Will there be any coding required for the ecu to recognise? Or just plug and play?

Other members here may be able to chime in on whether this is possible, but why not go with a high quality aftermarket player? The only benefit I see from this is an updated OEM product which fits easily (assuming dimensions are exact), but with an outdated system given it's 8-years old at this point. Have you checked on swapping an iPad or other mutlifunction system into your head unit, and the cost relative to what you're asking?

if you don't want to invest that kinda money, i say buy a cheap $20~ bluetooth wireless fm transmitter on amazon. this worked well with my car when i used it. no static!
