Default Would this subwoofer system work?

Can anyone verify if this powered subwoofer system would work on our 2IS? My stock Mark Levinson sub blew out over a year ago and I really miss having bass in my car. Is anyone here running one of these kits? I'm basically looking for the most cost effective way of adding bass (even if it's only a little) back to my car. I was originally gonna add a 12" type R alpine with a decent amp but figured this would be quite a bit cheaper and should satisfy my needs. Here's a link Rockford Fosgate powered subwoofer

Good to know! My original idea was to just make a custom stealth enclosure but for now I think I would be fine with this setup since it's much cheaper to do. How you liking your type R?

complements the mark levinson very well!! Its like the perfect set up for a non-audiophile person but since i dont have the enclosure anymore, its okay. Its free air right now so i cant listen to loud music anymore.
