Default Finally Installed APEXI mid pipe !!!

I am waiting for this mid pipe since spring, finally the exhaust arrive at APEXI today and I picked one up and installed at Project Import. The mid pipe is cost 1050$, that is not a bad price. Take about 1 Hour to install, thanks project import to do a good job!
The result is amazing and I am 100% satisfied. The purpose of installing this exhaust is mainly increase the airflow and make some power and torque. Cause the APEXI use a H pipe and resonator, so the sound is tone is pretty stock and pure, little more raspy, actually the car is more quite under 3600rpm, but there is instant torque and power. Definitely gonna feel it.
Car become so smooth and get rid of those lag before, the car drives like how is car should be. The power under 2000rpm is much better than before and it saves gas, cause normal driving not need exceed 2000rpm, I already get enough torque and power to go 60mph, pedal feel well. The higher rpm push harder and this improve the driving experience on highway a lot, press the pedal and the car goes, the terrible feeling of driving in highway when it is stock totally go away. It is not even very loud, I think just about 5~10% louder than stock, but sound really great. you can not feel the car has changed the exhaust , it is so natural. So there is no worry about noise at all. Just sound how this car should be.
I got afe drop in filter, and hps Intake pipe in my car and RR racing USRS, Next I might done the ECU tune of RR racing to get little more power and some decent torque. Project Import will post some video soon.

Question:

Why did you chose to only exchange the mid part of the exhaust and not to replace the entire exhaust system? But a better question is from your observation was the Apex-I Mid Pipe diameter bigger than the stock pipe? If so, by any chance did you measure both pipes circumference?

I'm just asking for my education...

Cause I don't like that muffler, I am not a fan of such a big can muffler, and there is no valve on it. Sound too deep for me. Have you heard novel exhaust, I am planning to get that muffler or GTHAUS or Toms. I want those high pitch sound. For the mid pipe this one is proper design and there is a H pipe to increase torque , works proper and well as stock. I believe it has bigger diameter than stock but I never measured it. Throw the stock away, so happy with this one.

You're not going to get that high pitched sound unless you compliment with their Novel long tube headers. That is what makes the sound. Even then it's not really high pitched, it's just a higher smoother note.

How does it sound inside the car? Is there any added droning sound around 2K RPM?

sound as stock, little aggressive on higher RPM. below 4000rpm it is quieter than stock even. No drone at all. I cant stand anydrone at all, so this is good. Muffler will have drone.
