Well, the brown wire is a ground, so just attach the ground from the radio to something metal. I cant remember whats behind the dash, but just find a metal facing with a screw/bolt and use that as a ground. Be sure that the metal plate is attached to the body somewhere. If not, then just extend the ground wire from the radio and find a ground anywhere, even if you have to go all the way to the battery.
But what I wanna know is, why would you cut the factory wiring and ruin the harness? They make plug in kits ya know.

I agree on not cutting harness when ever possible. As for a ground find a screw and use it. Make sure the wire is between the head of a screw and the metal. Use a wire connector if you have one. Don't run it to the battery. Keep the wire short but long enough to pull the radio out later. 6 to 9 inches. Or you can get engine idle/rev feed back when the car is running. If you plan to put an amp in at some point keep the wire 18 inches or less or you will get feed back. This goes for any car. Just adding my two cents on running a ground to the battery.
