Hi All,

Just recenctly bought 2007 ES350 ultra luxury package. was very intrested to see the windoows and sunroof close and open by remote. but unfortunatly it doesnt wor.
additionally, it does not work with the key as well.

do anyone have any idea about it.

its an awesome car, and loving the drive in it.

As far as I know, US models have the remote close feature disabled for liability purposes.

This function only works to open the windows and moonroof. It cannot close them. This is standard, not a malfunction

i tried with the mechanical key to both, open and close. but neither of them worked.

here it says that it should open only by default as a factory setting

Hi Again,

I tried it in the lunch break, and BAAM it opens all the windows if we press and hold the unlock button on the remote key fob. however the sunroof doesn't respond to either lock or unlock.
For me the important one is to have the closing function of all windows and sun roof, i wonder why lexus had in mind to open all windows by remote?

My TL does the same thing. I can open all the windows, including sunroof, by holding the unlock button on the fob. I think it's to allow the car to cool a bit before you get in on hot days.

Just press and hold the button on the door twice and they should close.

Okay, i will try this today while going back home. you mean to say press twice the button on the door handle and keep holding it at the second press?

It works, all of the windows go up when i press the button on the door handle twice with holding it on the second press.

tried the same thing with the remote key, but sadly it wont work.

yesterday i came to know form a video on YouTube that the moon roof doesn't open or close automatically on the Ultra luxury package. because the complete roof is of glass, strange that how does it matter.
also i came to know that 10 spoke alloy wheels are specific to the UL package, i taught all of the ES 350 has those.

I tried holding the unlock button on my key fob but it doesn't open the windows. Is there a setting to turn this on?
