Default Head-Up Display problems

Hi, just took delivery of my 4RX F-sport last week and I found that my HUD was kind of blurry, especially at night. It is a little bit similar to LED tv light leakage, but not exactly the same. On the top left corner, it projects super 'white' on the background. I tried to took a picture of it but was not able to get a clear one. Has anyone experienced this issue? I am planning to visit a dealer to check it out.

Check to make sure nothing has dropped onto the screen. I had a calling card drop down into the screen well and it partially blocked the reflected screen.

could be as simple as a smudge...... i was fumbling around trying to take out this valet ticket that was left on there and it created enough smudges to blur the screen that i noticed.......a quick wipe with a microfiber cloth and it was gone.

it still projects well once the Navi arrows takes place there. So i guess it might be the problem of the projector itself.

it works perfectly when the Navi arrows pop up. but once the arrows are gone, it displays some irregular white stuff there. Already booked an appointment with the dealer and will definitely update it back here. thanks a lot for the advices.

you probably have bad luck on that HUD because my dont have any of that problem yeah you should take it to the dealship to let them look at it before you ran out your warranty

just dropped my car to a dealer tonight and they will perform an inspection on that. They had a really hard time of understanding what I was talking about.....hopefully they will fix this.

UPDATE: My dealer replaced the HUD for me free of charges. The whole process took about two weeks, including inspections, ordering parts and installation. I would suggest if anyone is experiencing similar problems would have someone look into that. I was told that the problem is mainly due to poor assembly, so i guess i wouldn't be the only one. The HUD should be crystal clear with no cloudy appearances in the background.
