Default Tire sizes for Linea Corse LC818?

Hey guys,

I got new LC818 rims for my 2008 ISF. I had Discount Tire swap my current tires on to the new rims (225/40/19 and 255/35/19), but noticed the rim sticks out alot further then the tires. Im thinking of getting wider tires and going with 245/35/19 and 275/30/19. I do have Tein H tech springs and Bilstein B6 shocks on the car. The wheels are 19x8.5 + 30mm and 19x10 +38mm.

Will i run into any issues with rubbing?

The front should be fine, the rear I think you just need to get fenders rolled. With 38 offsets and 275 in the rear is not a so aggressive setup. You can check on WHEELDUDE.COM there are so many setups that you will follow.

I run a 275 on the rear with my lc818s I'm stock height back there and I rub on dips. I'll be rolling the rears soon.

Does it rub pretty bad? I rolled my rear fenders today.

Do you guys think a 265 in the rear would be better?

It only rubbed in dips. Keep in mind I'm stock height in the rear.

265/35 it would be ok . If you really want to get the wide tire why you dont get 275 bc your fenders just got rolled. This guys he is running 265/35 in the rear.

I dont need the wide tire per say. Just dont like the way the outer edge of the rim sticks out further then the tire...

It's too bad man ! Bc LC818 with +38 offsets will be 30mm stick out to the fenders compared to the stock wheel 9" +55.

I think Wheeldude suggests 235/35/19's for the front, and 265/30/19's for the rear.

On an ISF, you can go with a 19x10 +38 set up on all 4 corners. This is fairly common with the LC818 on the ISF. Tire sizes needed are 255/35 Front and 265/35 Rear. I had this setup and it was perfect, no rubbing (I am lowered on Tein Springs).

Since you already have staggered wheels, that obviously doesn't help you... but you can definitely go with a 265/35 in the rear without issues, and probably even a 275/30 without issues. 245/35 should also be fine in the front.

I'm very close to pulling the trigger on a set of these as well unless I can find some RCF wheels and thinking about a square set up. All 4 - 19x10 +38.

I'll roll the rear fenders and might relocate the bumper tab if necessary but don't want a pull. I'm open to rolling the front fenders and might even consider camber and toe arms to be able to run a little negative camber to fit meatier tires. I'm currently at stock height. At most I'd do a minimal drop like the OP.

What would be required to fit the following...

Option 1 - 275/30 Michelin PSS all around. Will that fit in the front?

Option 2 - 275/30 Bridgestone Potenzas, slimmer than the MPSS.

Option 3 - 265/35 MPSS

thanks,
Rob

I doubt any of those options fit easily...

The wheel specs are relatively aggressive, especially if you're wanting meaty tires and are lowered... here is my car when I had the 19x10 setup for reference.

Front fitment with 255/35

Tires shown are cheap Nankangs which are much slimmer than MPSS or Potenzas.

My car is only dropped in the front on Tein H Tech (1"). Rear is factory height.

I had no rubbing with rolled rears, but if you're lower and/or want wider tires you will likely be needing modifications.

Thanks for the detailed pics. I think the 10 in the front might be too much. If I can't run a square set up I think I'll try 255/35 in the front and 295/30 in the rear but need some different wheels and offsets. I have something in the works and will post once completed.

Thanks, Rob

I'm running Bridgestone S-04s in the sizes you mentioned on RCF 9s and 10s.

Hello,

I am writing from France and I hesitate for the purchase of LC818 rims.

Here is the size choice I have for copies of LC818 (ROTA Wheels) : http://www.driftshop.fr/jantes.html?color=95&diam=92&modele=3835&pcd=157

My car is full stock (not lowered) and i don't want to roll the fender.

Which setup do you advise ?

19x10 ET38 all around / 255 front and 265 (or 275) rear

19x8.5 ET38 Front and 19x10 ET38 rear / 235 front and 265 rear

The ET30 for the front wheels doesn't exist in France for the LC818. But with 5 mm spacers for example it might seem wider?
