Default Black pearl emblem alternative - Looking for product testers

Hopefully I can post this here, if not, feel free to move to the appropriate forum. I am looking for some 3rd gen IS owners to help me test out a new product of mine. I have had quite a few requests for me to create a pre cut tint over lay for the front emblems to create a similar look to the black pearl emblems.

I have done this for several cars locally, but for some reason, these are the only pictures I can find of the before/after comparison at the moment.

Shoot me a PM on here or e-mail me at Don@WannabeRacer.com if you're interested in helping me test this product out.

It won't be free, but it'll be at a very good price, just so I can separate those who just want free stuff and those who are actually interested and can provide me with quality feedback.

If you guys had any thoughts, comments, questions, feel free to post them here or message me.

Thanks!

-Don

So this is basically a film that lays on top of the chrome/emblem?

Can this be a DIY? or does it have to be taken to a shop to be done professionally.

Yes, exactly. It is a film that is applied on top of the existing emblems.

It is 100% something you can do yourself, which is the purpose/advantage of this pre cut piece. With it being pre cut, it'll probably be the easiest vinyl installation anyone can ever do.

It's basically just tint over the front emblem correct? if it is, It actually looks really good in person. I've seen a couple on some GS and IS in the OC area

I replied back to everyone who PMed or e-mailed me.

Just wanted to clarify that this pre cut material is designed specifically for the style emblem on the Lexus posted/shown in my pictures above. I have only seen two variations of the front emblems on the cars that I have worked on.

The first is the style where the front emblem is "filled" in or "full", which is what my pre-cut piece is designed for. The second style is simply the emblem that's similar on the back trunk, where it is just the chrome piece by itself but on the front grill of the car. Sorry for my lack of better technical or correct names/terms for them.

Shipped some out today. I ran out of larger manila envelopes, so for some of those who are receiving their overlays, you may notice I had to get a bit creative with my packaging, haha.

Awesome! Remember, to install the film, it is like applying a screen protector on the phone. You can use some soapy water to help you apply or it you can even do it dry if you want. The material is very user friendly.

PM or e-mail me your thoughts on it, and take some before/after pictures if you can. If any of you guys need further help or have questions installing it, feel free to shoot me a PM or e-mail for faster response.

Looking forward to seeing them on your cars!

-Don
