Carista customization question
I put Carista Pro thru its paces today using the Carista OBD adapter. For my 2014 car, there are lots of customizations that are not even listed in the owner's manual. Importantly, the explanation for various customizations is much clearer on Carista than in the manual. Besides, it is really easy to view options and change in the app, compared to the multiple menus and screens one has to navigate using the mouse in the car. So, I think this app is a great deal!
I ran diagnostics and everything checked out OK . I saw one option in Lights. It's called Advanced Illumination pattern. The default is 1. I don't recall anything in the manual about this. Any ideas?
BTW, the Service menu has not been implemented for the 2014 MY cars. I hope an update is forthcoming.

I don't mean to hijack your thread but I didn't want to start a new one seeing as how this one has the same title I would've chosen. There's an option to turn on the ability to close the windows and moon roof with the smart key. I tried to do this yesterday but it didn't work for me. I'm assuming it's the opposite of how you open them. I used the unlock button on the remote to open the windows and moon roof then I tried to use the lock button on the remote to try to close them but it didn't work. I have a 2007 LS460.

That's a better option than removing the door lock cover, which looks ugly by the way without the cover, then removing the key from the fob and inserting and turning. These luxury cars turn you into such a lazy a$$ huh? I was actually telling my wife the other day that this car has made me lazy. I don't have to press any button to get in the car, I don't have to turn on the headlights, I don't have to turn on the wipers, hell, I don't even have to hold the brake pedal anymore.

^ I'm with you on that! I try to unlock the door with the handle or start the car with the button...reverse with no camera or sensors. I also love the auto e-brake. neat feature!
