Default Bluetooth Not Connecting On '06 IS350

I did a quick search and have not seen anything pertaining to my exact issue so I'm reaching out to see if anyone else is having a similar problem. I own a 2006 IS350 with Nav and I've had the same iPhone 6 for the last year and have had no issue with bluetooth connecting and usage. However, for about the last 2-3 weeks my phone will no longer connect to the system. I've tried deleting it and re-connecting it but it cannot detect the phone now for some odd reason. My initial theory is that it may correlate with the latest iOS update and somehow the older systems are not able to read it but that doesn't seem to make sense either because to me bluetooth is bluetooth. I actually work at a Lexus dealer and haven't heard about any customers reporting the issue so it may just be something strange with my car but I wanted to reach out to see if anyone else has experienced the issue. The phone is still currently listed in the system; however, it comes up as "Failed to connect to device" when I start the car. I'll continue to play with it but I let me know if you've experienced a similar issue recently or in the past with your 2nd Gen IS. Thanks!

Dumb question, but have you accidentally turned your Bluetooth off on your phone?

If your phone didn't see the car bluetooth, You should turn off your bluetooth and turn it back on after few second. It should be able ok.
In other hand, Make sure to check how many phone did your car stored? Most of use car has a lot of phones stored in the system

The best way is delete all the personal data and you good to go

Instead of deleting the phone from the car's Bluetooth menu, try forgetting the device (car) on your phone's Bluetooth menu and then re-pairing your phone to the car. My Bluetooth connection gets corrupted every now and then (signal is choppy, music skips) so that's how I've been able to fix it each time.
