Default Anyone in Dallas installed Fogs on F Sports

I'm interested to install the fog lights on my F Sports soon talk to my regular tech and he said he has not done it in the past and is reluctant to do it. So story short if anyone has done it and ready to help. Time will be compensated. Thanks

Where on the vehicle are you thinking of putting them?

If you plan on putting them in the brake ducts, that's a bad idea. You know those big slots under the bumper actually funnel air to the brakes right? Now...side by side, anywhere in the middle between those ducts, that's a different story.

Like what Afro said above, those spaces serve a purpose: air vent to brakes.

I'm not sure if there will be a great impact to them if your commute doesn't require a lot of braking, but personally, messing with it seems like a bad idea.

Have you thought about adding led strips there? I honk they could be installed without impeding a lot of air flow from the vent.

I'm surprised at the comments being posted. He's talking about adding fogs like the GS350 f sports have outside the US. The two pieces on the sides of the front bumper are solid they aren't perforated to let air in. So if he does add fogs in, its not going to restrict air flow to anything. Many members on this forum have done this before.

Dallasguy1, if you have a 2015 or newer, then you might encounter the washer fluid container being too large to install the fog light. Just a heads up!

Since when? My 13 has ducts that go straight through to the front brakes. The overseas models have a special housing that allows airflow and blocks half th hole instead.

I have a 2013 and the center upper/lower grill has holes in it but the sides pieces where he wants to install the OEM fog lights do not. It's made to look like it has holes but it does not.
