Hi all the Lexus guys. Im starting my own Lexus sc300 build. Im gonna post some pictures and other stuff to here about the build/swap..

Im from Finland and my english is what it is but maybe im learning that too here





There is mine white SC300 from US and green soarer from Japan. Im gonna take soarers 1jz engine and put it to the sc300. Maybe some other mods. I have R154 tranny from jzx100 chaser. Progress will be made like some small things per weekend... I try to post as much as i can and take pictures as much as possible

I have a small garage and i have project going there also to make it as good as it can be to building cars... So this swap begins maybe next winter!

Thanks gerrb, thats what im looking for.

Lettut, found it from baltics. Its orginally from new mexico and had some damage to the right side from front to back... Boys there fixed it badly and now i gonna build it to as good as i can. Looks outside good but it isnt from inside/bottom But project cars cant be too good from start... It maded 800km travel to finland so its good enough to build !

Finally got some small moves on the project..

I inspected the car - only need to pay taxes to get it registered and get fin regplates..

Waiting to get to the carage..

Took 1jz out of -92 soarer. Now going to some cleaning, seal replacements etc stufff.. I want so bad to go single turbo

What aftermarket ecu would u guys recommend for 1jz? I was thinking MS3 Pro or Ecumaster emu or something like that cheep and good enough D

nice swap. as far as ECU. it would come down to whos tuning it. No point to get a ECUmaster when no tuner around you would tune it. Im running AEM Infinity with my swap. good luck and what other plans do you have?

Standalone ecu(copy of ms3pro, it has everything same as ms3 pro, with same prosessor etc) and egt box and sensors and some aem 320lph pump, aem x series wideband and bosch 850cc injectors..
Orginal toyota stuff waterpump, termostat, full gasket kit
relized that our garage needs epox painting.. So much to do and the summer is coming fast and lexus wont be ready if im so lazy and doin everything else than working on my car need to paint now :/
So I made my desicion and im going single for right away..

Parts

-China ex manifold T3
Dont know what turbo yet, holset 35 tuned or garrett gtx or gt, have read some nice things about garrett with 1jz fast spool etc and truck turbo holset with big high rev kick
-china intercooler
-ms3 ecu standalone with egt can box
-850cc bosch
some fuel rail, dont have yet
-aem 320lph in tank pump
10mm fuel lines or bigger? 10mm maybe enough - dont have yet

-Stock 1jz
-Stock r154 tranny

aiming 400-500 wheels

You can give me better options if u have and if u know what would be ultimate turbo for my goals

Half done from first coat, then it need second coat without water ��
My r154 from 98 chaser

Then i ordered from epman fuel rail for my bosch top feed injectors.. I still have lots of stuff to order, and triple more to do.. Fuel regulator, fuel lines, wastegate, bov, clutch, exhaust pipes (i will make custom all, downpipe etc)

Cooler and manifold arrived from Germany, so happy! Manifold need some modifications tho..

I was wondering about percision 6776RS turbo because we have that here used and good price but its maybe too big or is it? It says its good for 700hp that turbo and im aiming 400-500

Thanks! Yea u are right! I called our biggest aftermarket dealer and he suggest to me instead of ms3 pro his own made copy of ms3 pro with some better mods and connectors.. Called Freedrive and it uses same applications than megasquirts. Tunerstudio.

its going single and r154 manual aiming 400-500 with pump gas.

everything sounds good so far man. As far as the turbo goes getting something a little bigger than what you initially want is a good idea because you may want a bit more power later on, why not have the room to grow

I couldnt find anything info about pt6776rs with 1jz but found some with 2jz.. Do you think I could run with that turbo on low boost 400-500? 67 compressor and 76 turbo wheel, found some review that it needs over 20 psi to get good air flow with that turbo.. So it will go over 500 hp i guess too easily, and while i have everything stock i wanted to be between 400-500 😄

Does anyone has pt6776rs on his car and any real experiment about how it works?

Found soarer diff with some lsd inside (maybe cusco rs 2way, not sure)
Bought gt35 garret from Germany, it has low ar(ar 0 68) so maybe can get good power from low rpm s

Trying to make old parts to look close to new. Cheaper than buying new once..

Using genuine toyota motormass
Steering shaft assy dirty.. Had problem with knuckle shaft joint. It had big cap what was noticed at steering wheel from left to right and right to left turning there was cap. Now finding universal joint to replace the old one..
front axle
Aluminium cleaning
Trying to clean it littlebit.
Cleaning tensioner
Bought new wheel to it because old one had bad bearing.
At the moment im just cleaning all the old parts, restoring stuff... Next step cleaning lexus body from under and engine room.

Cleaning block and head. Oil pan no 1. just fitting not installed yet. Have to change rear and front oil seals.
