Default Brake Rotor OEM vs Centric

Club Lexus,

Wondered if I could get some opinions. I've read mixed reviews about Centrics so I want to ask this question.

I have a 2006 GS300 AWD in need of new front rotors and pads. Already purchased Akebono ProACT brake pads which seems to be the recommended pad but want option about rotors.

Should I purchase Centric 120 Series rotors for $135 or should I go with Lexus OEM for $210.

Opinions and thoughts? Has anyone's Centric rotors lasted more than 50k under normal driving

Thanks for the comments everyone

I've had great luck with centric rotors, even the cheap ones a long as I painted the hats and fins to prevent rust. I just put on $27 pronto rotors and honestly I'm very happy with them as well with the akebono pads. That being said, I feel like I should have gone with powerstop pads as they have a bit better bite

I love the Centric rotor. I have the front set on my car. I think OEM is a softer metal which is prone to warping no matter how you brake. I've notice it on a lot of Japanese cars like Toyota/Lexus and Mazda with OEM rotors.

I've used them on multiple cars over time - no issues to report

Thanks for the info. Paid a bit more and went with OEM. Seems the longevity is there. 10 Years and 110k miles on original rotors. Paired with Akebono ProAct for the front and rear.

Feels greats. Thanks for everyone's input. Now I have to figure out this high-speed whopple I get after a hard braking. SMH...This happened with the previous rotors too lol. SMH

Another vote for Centric pads. They offer ultimate quality and years of trouble-free service.
