Why did you put on aftermarket Coilovers?
I just wanted to see why people put on aftermarket coilovers. Do they enjoy the flexibility to change the drop? the stiffness and handling improvement of the ride? I look forward to reading your reasons

I have been through lowering springs and then coilovers, air will probably be next for sure. I will say yes the flexibility to raise and lower when needed.also usually the option when needed order replacement parts. The handling is the best and I would never go to springs the ride was bouncy at times.

Some of my customers have been going bags on their vehicle. Coils aren't too popular, I see a lot of spring and bags!

Yup, Tein has the Flex available for the 4GS and it should even be compatible with the AVS system.

Good feed back here, I leaning towards J5 coilovers since i live in MI and my car will be AWD. From what i hear air or bagged system will require more maintenance and not sure how it will handle winter weathers here.

A Lot of guys put on coilovers for a few main reasons. It allows them to keep their comfort level while still giving them the aggressiveness that a coilover system provides. The second reason is the play on the drop. If your not sure you want to drop 2.5" or maybe you have concerns about rubbing with a larger wheel, you can easily play around with the drop settings on these at anytime.
BC Racing and D2 Racing have just launched coilover applications for this car and then of course there is the ever so popular RS-R. We have all these in stock so shoot me a PM for best pricing.

Most people find that Swift springs are more comfortable than the standard springs that come on coilovers. Swift springs also help with traction and weight transfer.
