Just wondering since I saw no where in the brochure that the Qi charging was an option so is it standard on all 2016 RXs?

I have test driven 3 16 RX's and none of them have had Qi in them yet... I was thinking they might not even offer it yet, although in all the pictures I saw before of the car it had it...

I know this thread is about the Qi charger, but can you give your opinions about the new RX since you have test driven 3 of them. Would love to hear.....if you have done this previously in another post, let me know so I can read about it there. Thanks !

I was wondering about the wireless charging also. I've seen Lexus media documentation mentioning the wireless charging and showing a power button in the little cubby in front of the shifter but cannot find any reference to it on the consumer side of the website including build your own or the accessories page. I have also read articles from when the new model was announced that mentioned wireless charging. I have found the Lexus website to be one of the worst auto manufacturer websites in just about every regard (which doesn't surprise me much as the Toyota website is almost as bad). It is as if they just want to tease you with info on the web and would rather you come in to the dealership. Funny thing is that the new demographic they are chasing is more often than not more tech savvy and would rather do research on the web before devoting time to dealership visits... but I digress. Wait, what are we talking about here? LOL.

Havent seen it on any of the delivered RXs either. All the press cars seem to have it, which is frustrating. really nice location IMO...would be nice to get juice while phone is stored there.

When I took my test drive( we had to order RX) the sales person said they were not putting the wireless charger in the RX! The manual seems to indicate it's there but maybe Lexus changed their mind?

On a prior test drive, salesman said the wireless charger sucks. It only had enough power to maintain the battery, not add more charge to it...

Looks like there is no such thing in American models

This is disappointing, I wonder if this is one of the features they are holding for the 2017 model... I wonder how hard a retrofit would be on it...

Wife has 2016 RX, base model with AWD and many options, but no charger. At delivery I asked about it and was told it was not included.

I am from Canada and just took possession of my 2016 RX350 F-Sport Series 3 before Christmas and it does in fact have one.
