Default Takeda CAI Sound Clip - 2015 RC350 F-Sport

I've uploaded a sound clip to YouTube that lets you hear what the Takeda CAI sounds like on a 2015 Lexus RC 350 with F-Sport option. The exhaust is stock. I've tried to include as many different driving conditions as possible. If you have any questions let me know.

At no time was the speed limit exceeded on surface streets or the freeway. The CAI makes the car sound like it is going faster than it really is.

It was done in under 1 hour, and it was very easy with basic hand-tools. Metric hand-tools of course. Highly recommended. With the CAI and driving it like I do I still manage to get an average of 22 MPG, and that is a 3 MPG higher than w/o.

Just looking at it on eBay. Price is not too bad but would be nice to get it cheaper 😊. Appreciate the heads up on the install

That's pretty nice sound for an intake. Sounds like an exhaust.

The price has gone up since I bought mine. I paid under $300 in February.

I'd have to hear someone else's to see if I like it first. What I don't like is the raspy sound that I hear when you rev the engine or on take off. When I go to SEMA in November hopefully I will be able to hear some sound clips of the different manufactures to help me decide.

Is that carpet on your dash??

Also do you have any pictures of your engine bay? I'm curious what it looks like installed.

It is an upper dash pad. The ones they make are for the upper and lower, which I didn't like. I had the upper one custom made. It's great at cutting down on the reflection into the windshield from the dash.

Here is the pic of the engine bay.
