I have a video ipod here at home which i do not use. I know the Hd is in working order. The ipod itself just needs to have a wire soldered and it will work properly i just don't know how to solder and do not want to ruin the ipod. It was barely used. How much are you willing to throw my way for it?

The hard drives are $1 per gb mostly for under 40gb then they are 50 cents per GB over 40gb. Been lucky and I've found the 30gb for http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ht_2565wt_1141
$19 plus 5 ship.

give me 25 plus paypal fees and shipping. I'll send you the ipod and you can do as you please with it. Since i do not know how to solder, my loss is your gain! You could probably just resale the ipod for alot more.. Its been just sitting in my drawer lol LMK

I need a hard drive, that money is around 40 gb territory. there is nothing to solder inside an IPod video, only two ribbon cables. If you need solder it needs the trash can. (but the hd inside would be nice ).

Well atleast i thought it needed soldering. Theres 2 copper colored ribbon in there which i thought needed to be soldered but my friend just verified its not the case. I just do not know how to install them back in. But if you want the HD you got it!

You're in MD? That's only $5 priority mail for the unit to be mailed so $32 should cover your earlier offer? I can use the screen out of it as well, now that I look at mine. I'll just get it all.
