power window problem
i recently disconnected the negative terminal on my battery to reset the nav system and ever since my driver side power window controls are not working. i can only get the driver side window to work and even then it does it isnt auto like it was before. before i would just push it down once and the window would automatically lower and pushing it up once would make the windows roll up all the way. now i have to hold it to lower and raise the window. the other 3 windows dont respond at all from the driver control however they do work when i use the control on each individual door.
has anyone else here had a similar problem?

for anyone else who stumbles on to this page here is the instructions from the manual.
When the 12 volt battery is disconnected
The power windows must be initialized in order to ensure proper operation.
(Perform for each window with the switch for each seat.)
STEP1: Open the window halfway.
STEP2: Fully close the window by pulling the switch up and continue holding the switch for 1 second.
The indicator on the switch changes from a flashing pattern to being on when initial settings are complete.
also the moon roof needs to be re-initialized
When the 12 volt battery is disconnected
The moon roof must be initialized in order to ensure proper operation.
STEP1: Close the moon roof fully.
STEP2: Hold down “UP” switch during the following moon roof sequence:
Tilt up→Tilt down→Slide open (fully open)→Slide close (fully close)
STEP3: To ensure the initialization is complete, make sure automatic opening and closing functions work properly.

Thanks so much! It worked perfectly. I didn't even know the moonroof had to be initialized and all these years I wondered why the one touch stopped working and didn't bother to fix it.
Also, saved me a trip to the 'Steal'-ership.

Press and hold the slide open button, and see if it cycles open, closed, up, shut, whilst the button is depressed.
If it does, then the next long press on either open buttons will be the one-touch operational again.

hold down for two- up for twenty seconds just as a precaution, you can even push down for more than two I believe. Just as long as u hold the up position for a long time it should be relearned.

Power windows not working
Great advice and details to reprogramming the windows after I replaced the new battery. I was worried that the fuses may have blown but sure enough the information worked well and saved me a few bucks by not going to Lexus. Thanks to all
