BMW 335I...crazy aftermarket mod (better bang for the buck than our PI TC!)
and I doubt you keep the warranty intact, for instance if you leave hte pigback on when they start inspecting your engine/ECU because of a warranty problem thats a red flag that you did some mod. Yea the warranty is intact when you remove the piggyback to take it to the dealer

I should have put it in the General Discussion area...my bad.Anywho...I just thought I might throw this out there to show others who don't realize that the car industry seems to be taking a more drastic turn towards high power #'s than ever before. I mean c'mon we have new Honda Accords pulling 270HP...and Maximas even higher. 300HP was a great deal of power and usually put you ahead of a lot of cars not so anymore.
Also, my friend that lives across the street from me is getting the new 335I and they OFFER the PROcede ECU and exhaust package THROUGH THE DEALER and the warranty is STILL in effect after installation.
I always known that chipping and such is a great mod but usually for gasoline engines FI or NA it wouldn't yield ~90HP (crank) on this alone! I would expect results like this from turbo diesels but not gasoline engines. This is why I thought this was impressive. Not to mention that the cost is only around $2600 for this massive boost in power. Dashocker (Sean) must be loving his Bimmer right now...lolTrending Topics
