Default TTE lip install

I will be installing the TTE lip tonight. Is there anything i need to know about installation process or is it pretty straight forward like it seems to be?

the pic are taken by phone camera (nokia n95). Not bad for a phone, huh?

It's pretty straight forward like it seems to be. Are you going to be doing the screw method or just the tape?

i've heard some sort of epoxy is needed to mount the lip, but please some1 prove me wrong. I was hoping it is 3M exterior double sided tape. The one with the Red Backing.

Well anyway, please keep us posted.

The more stuff you have holding it on there...the better. Trust me, you don't want your $350 + paint lip flying off on the highway because you ONLY used double sided tape. I'd recommend you use the tape first, then screw it in to the bumper. Use epoxy or sealant if you want, but it's not 100% necessary.

I think there are supposed to be 4 screws attached to the bottom of the lip. I have 4 screws and double-sided tape on mine. It is pretty secure.

Epoxy does come witht the Lip. I used it on mine, it comes in a tube. There is a DIY thread on here somewhere. Liquidd Weld works great too. A few screws and you will be fine. I have scraped mine and hit parking curbs and it hasn't falling yet. Just need repainting every summer.

Get it molded in..... Looks so much better and it's worth the extra $$$ to get it done right. Good luck with your install and post pics
