Problem with AFS after installing aftermarket coilovers...
I'm about to get some Tein CS coilovers, but before I do, I'm trying to clear up any possible issues that might come up. I remember something about how you can cause a problem with your AFS with coilover installation, and a light may come on the dash indicating it...
I think someone said there was an FAQ about it? Is there anything I can tell the shop who ends up installing this to help him avoid the problem?
I did a search, but apparently there were NO results just for the word "afs"... which is ridiculous.
Thanks.

ya combfilter showed how to fix it...my AFS light came on...when i looked at the rear afs sensor...it's set exactly how his was before "all the way to the bottom"...all he did was adjust it back up and it caused the lights to stop flashing...i havent had time to do it yet.

yea, its only on the rear you have to worry about. I think most people dont' have this happen with coilovers. Easy to fix though. Just need a set of ramps and an 8mm and a 10mm wrench. 5min total. You might have to do some head light adjusting afterwards. Mine don't seen to shoot as far down the road anymore, but lobuxracer posted the pdf on how to adjust it. I am going to tweek this arm one more time tomorrow and see if it fixes my shot depth down the road issue. if not then I have to do what that pdf in the same thread above shows. Just been real busy lately. I'll follow up the afs issue tomorrow if I get this ***** up on the ramps after i get off work

When you make those adjustments, just imagine the rear end of the car being raised up and what the position of the AFS device would look like with it raised. Then adjust it as if it were. The idea is, if the rear of the car is lowered, the headlights will adjust lower to compensate. If the rear of the car is higher, the headlights will adjust higher to compensate. Make sense?

I dont know about you guys but the Eibachs drop looks just like mine stock, I have the sport suspension and is lowered exactly like that. I just got the Tein Stech's but havent put them on yet and from what they say its 1.6F and 1.2R, anyone running these yet?? Im hoping its lower than what I have now...
