I have had that since 5,000 miles and I told them about it and apparently they fixed it. Now I have 65,000 miles and its getting worse.

I finally took mine in for the repair. As expected, they didn't have the parts in stock. They gave me a purse on wheels for a loaner (RX350) just in time for the snow in Atlanta.

I hate having someone I don't know work on my car. I'm hoping for the best but it's hard to be confident when I know I could do it myself and be sure it's done the way I want instead of by the poor guy working against the flat rate clock to try and make a buck. This is one time I wish I were back in Sacramento.

Have had this startup rattle problem for 5 months now and finally took it in after it started happening about half the time. Like others, they didn't have the parts, but gave me a fully loaded 2007 ES350 w/nav as a loaner. Took them a few days to get the parts, then a day to do the work.

Have had the car back for 3 weeks now and have not heard the rattle. Glad I did it.

I actually got this done 2 months ago. Took them nearly a week to finish the work. I got it back thinking it was fixed but it came back again last week and has been making that awful sound every morning I go to work and everytime I start my car after work. I want to go back, but I've been going in and out of the dealership every month or so for new rattles and feel like Im going in way too much. I go to Keyes in Van Nuys and everytime I roll up, theyre all like, hey whats rattling now? Maybe I'll wait it out a little bit more and go back haha.

Ok so I went to the dealer today cause the noise seemed like it was getting worse. I spoke with my service rep and told him about the TSIB on the engine rattle. He and the service manager had no clue to what that was. I showed it to them and they still had no idea. So my question is, has anyone who lives in Los Angeles, San Fernando area got their tsib on this rattle? If so, please let me know which dealer and how it went. thanks!
