Interior color question
For those who have seen the Sterling interior of the IS, is it like the Light Grey in the RX, or is it darker like the Ash in GS?

Yes, the gray is similar (maybe a shade darker than that in the GS) and the bonus is they changed the carpet to black (much easier to maintain to me).
For the folks that like wood work (there seems to be two camps here, those who like it and those who don't) they gave us a nice reddish tinted Bird's Eye while the GS has this black wood in which you can barely see the figuring.

both the Sterling and the Ash are very light..
funny thing, I think the Sterling is the lighter of the two. The IS wood is less controversial and looks glossy, warm and rich.

I have a RX330 with the gray interior and just ordered an IS350 with sterling.
Sterling is definitely darker than what I have in the RX, but certainly not dark.
And as mentioned, the carpets and mats in the IS are black rather than gray, so that makes the interior darker too.

I was hoping that Sterling would be light like Ecru, as some of the photos suggested, to make the inteior look airy (cashmere was bright and cheery, but I would be too worried about the carpet). I saw a GS with grey interior, and thought the interior looked too depressing (plus the black wood looked fake). I think I will just stick to black inteior ("cool" and mature).
