Default Step by step on cleaning headlights

Sup people this is my first write up on the site on a D.I.Y on Cleaning headlight.
Here is what you'll need

1) One bottle of a cleaner solution Simple green/grease lightin/purplepower (it helps remove the years of road crap you can see the oil and road grime melt off

2) A small spray bottle full of water or a hose which ever is easier(so you can spray the degreaser off so it dont dtay on your paint)

3) some rags(wipe the crap off the lenses)

4) 1 box of Nic sand 5 minute optical polish (you can get this stuff at autozone or napa i.e..)

5) a hand drill of 1200 rpms not to exceed 2400rpm

6) love optional depends on how you love your Whip

7) Follow the instructions on the box or me if your slowish

Well thats it for now pics will come in 6-8 hours cause my brother is kicking me off the computer
oh an buy the way this stuff will bring back the dead out of your headlights seriously I thougth it was gonna be a take your cheddar scam but its not it works ,hard like fat chicks on a ribwich it gets the crap off clean

sorry didnt get to finish but yeah hear are the steps
1 clean the crap that has built up on the lense with the cleanear/degreaser make sure to wipe off the excess off so it doesnt get on paint or remove the headlight its self 3 bolts one on top of light and 2 behind the fender wall 10mm for all nuts

2 spray the surface with water
3 grap ordinary hand drill put orbit tool included with kit on the drill
4 begin to polish in side to side motion count how many time you go over so you get a even polish you should start seeing the difference instantly since you have them out ven them if not them its ok make sure to keep surface wet not to much but just enough a good mist bottle
5 wipe all excess off and replace light and test notic ethe difference that all it takes

holla back if problems should occur or if your just lost

peace

NIce job on the lights. Mine were not that bad, just a little yellow tint. I just used some No.7 Cleaner/Ploish in the green and white tin and followed that up with some carnuba wax and they are white again.

Search and you'll find about a billion threads on this. But in short, you need to open the headlight assembly to clean the inside. It's a PITA but worth it in the end! There are a few very good DIY out there as well.
