Default One more Thundercloud grill installed (pics)

My TC grill came in this morning. Here are the pictures, sorry for the quality, but I can't seem to get the system to allow me to upload decent sized pictures.

Looks sweet! Mine should be in within 2-3 weeks.

Did you buy a new "L" or did you use your existing one?

How long did it take you to install the grille?

I used my existing "L", and it took me MAYBE 10 minutes to install the grill!

I'm thinking of purchasing this grill from the L-tuned parts website. Anyone know if this will fit ok on an Australian RX330. I assume it should be fine as the body shape should be 100% identical.

How easy is it to install. I guess I can just bring the part in to the Lexus service and get them to install it.

It will fit any RX330.

The past few posts have stated installation in about 10 mins. Supposedly there's a tricky part w/ the black plastic that's behind the grille trim, that's hard to adjust straight. I'll let you know as soon as mine arrives!

Hi Guy's
I'm also thinking of ordering the grille from L-tuned (if they ship overseas - I'm in the UK). Do you remove the L badge from the existing grille, or does it just fit round it ?

I removed the L from the existing grill. It is held on by one screw. The entire grill replacement took me MAYBE 10 minutes.

Default Scalpel please

....................

P.S. One thing nobody stated, is that you need to remove that little black plastic piece at the bottom center of the grille opening in order for the TC grille to fit.

Thanks for the info chaps - I now have mine on order with L-Tuned - about 4-weeks and counting before it lands at my door here in the UK

Default Hurry up.

I can't wait. My Grille shipped to Carson Toyota first, and then they shipped it to CT. UPS says it'll be here Thursday. I'll put it on Friday. So far it's been about 3 weeks I guess or whatever my previous post said.

Guys,
Wonder if you can help me out. I've found that I can order the original OEM Toyota Harrier chrome horizontal grille direct from Japan - and make a big saving in the cost when delivered to the UK. What I need to know is if this is infact what is being supplied as the TC grille. SG at L-tuned told me that the TC grilles they supply are toyota boxed and from Japan - but crucially, he said the part number he uses is unique to the US - PZ327-48022.

If anyone still has the outer packaging that their TC grille came in, could you post any part numbers that were apparent on it ? I could use this info to try and confirm with the source in Japan that I will be ordering the same thing.

Many thanks
Onz
