For those of you who wondered what happened to me . . and/or my RX330 . . . the dealership took it back. Lexus did NOT stand behind this. The $$ came from the dealership. All taxes, license fees, and of course full cost of the vehicle are being returned.
Will sit tight for a bit. Good luck to all.

Good to hear that it worked out $ wise for you. I kinda of think that Toyota/Lexus will eventually make it good to the dealer somewhere down the road, especially if the car is defective.

Harmonics can be a major issue in cars. If the torque converter is slightly out of true it can generate a vibration that will resenate thoughout the car. If you have ever seen a clutch plate the little sprind in the hub are there to stop vibration going from the engine to the drive train not as most people think to make when you let that cluch out smoother.
I hope this information is helpful.

MDX
Figured it this way . . . . I already own a Honda Pilot, which I keep in Vancouver. Rather spartan . . . but rides/drives flawlessly. Better riding than the RX . . . and the best front seats in the industry, IMO. The MDX, with 20 more horsepower . . and torque, and better fittings . . . and a better warranty, seems right. I'll have a tough time with the faux wood though. Peter
