IS350 lowered RWD, Wheel and Tire Fitment

Hi guys,

Looking to get the following spec for my wheels,

18x8.5 +45
18x9.5 +45

and was wondering if the following tire size can fit

245/40R18
275/35R18

I know the MPSS run "wide" with broader shoulders than other manufacturer, so is there a narrower brand I should look at? I want the extra width in the shoulder for wheel rim protection.

How much are you planning on lowering your car? For the front I wouldn't go bigger than 235/40R18 and for the rear no bigger than 265/35R18. The tires I'm running right now are within the recommended wheel specs so they're not stretched. The reason why I got Bridgestones is because they have rim guards on their tires, but will only work if you're not stretched.

Here's what I'm running and there's no rubbing.

- Niche Misano (Satin Black)
- RSR Half Down Springs
- Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport
- 18x8.0 +40 - 225/40R18
- 18x9.5 +40 - 265/35R18
