Even the F Sport though. I'm always surprised by how comfortable my buddy's F Sport rides.

No doubt...it's a nice ride...but it can be harsh depending on the roads....

On smooth roads, my 4 GS with 19" were a great idea; very sharp too.

However, on broken surfaces, the 19" always raised my ire.
It also started to creak and rattle in the dash & doors too.
I downsized to 18", which seems to have a 50/50 handling/ride compromise.

However my 3GS and my staff's ES350 both on 17", both have such cosseting rides.

So I spent day at the dealer today and test drove the ES, GS, and LS. I was honestly impressed with the new ES. It doesn't seem that "entry-level" as it did in previous years. The GS is indeed a good amount stiffer than the ES. I was split between the two all day, going back and forth, etc.

And then I drove a '13 LS.. I was blown away with how smooth this car rode. Not to mention I was quite surprised at the price point of the used models. Ladies and gents, I'm convinced that this is the smoothest riding car currently in production.

Yeah I too was very impressed with the refresh of the ES.

Now that you've driven the LS you're going to have to have that lol

Looks like you've made your decision...the LS! Idk if you're looking for a bit of sportiness, but F-sport LS is pretty sweet too.

Yes, it sounds like you've made your decision, but as someone who also has occasional back issues I've found that the short seats in something like the ES exacerbate it vs. sport seats that have more thigh and leg support. If you have very little thigh support your back is going to carry the brunt of the weight. I'm not sure the LS is going to remedy that. My GS had sport seats, so does my S5, and due to the pull-out thigh extender I have no back issues.

The LS' seat and the ES UL seat have the thigh extender too.

Good to know. My ES loaner had a very short seat. Couldn't stand it. Hopefully the OP will find something that remedies his back pain.

Does anyone know if the 2014 & 2015 GS350 Luxury not only got the F Sport's 19" five split spoke alloys in a silver finish, but they also got the F Sport's firmer springs, dampers & sway bars as well?

No, the Luxury does not have the firmer dampers.

And only the 15 has the F Sports 19s on the luxury. The 14 has the split fork 18s.

SWLS, did you find your 2012 or 2013 GS on 18" nine split spokes still quite firmer than average?
It's great for the handling side I guess.

I use 33 PSI on my 18's. What pressure did you use Steve?
