I decided to take a plunge with the F-Sport front grille replica and I absolutely love the results!
I ended up having to buy a new "L" emblem because the 3M molding tape that I was using on my old emblem kept showing around the sides.

How'd you guys get the L insert to stay? Mine doesn't seem to fit / clip in haha.

Clean off the old adhesive residues. Then either use 3M double side tape or RTV adhesive. I used RTV adhesive because i wanted the Logo to stay flush and closed to the base.

3M double sided tape for body parts (grey stuff).

I cut it to fit perfect on the badge, sits flush and nice, doesn't stick out on the sides for me.

For the actual plastic L insert that came with the grill? It's the separate piece that's supposed to go into it and I'm wondering if it just clips in somehow or if I have to do something different

It should snap right in. There is a bit of side to side adjustment so make sure it is properly aligned and push it in.

Really? WTF! I tried that for a bit wouldn't snap it, I'll try it again! Thanks.

Oh, the black plastic piece, it should sit nicely in there, then there are 4 screws with washers that hold it in place.
