That is a very good example. It brings the nasty question "If the Cd of the CLA is that better, must be the drive train efficiency of the CLA that is that worse than the A3 sedan's?" I am sure MB...

Well, allow me to doubt that "trickeries" can reduce Cd by whole 30%.
Besides, the only trickery festured in CLA180BE, but not in CLA250 is the adjustable radiator shutter. Tyres might be thinner...

I like the look of the new Prius. However, it looks a bit too aggressive for what it is.

I think this 0.22 claim is a bit of a marketing stretch.

Audi most probably uses a hydraulicaly actuated camshaft profile with an offset to achieve Miller cycle, just like the Prius. Hence, the relatively low variable valve timing range of 30 degrees (from...

I have to say I agree with ISF001 on that statement based on the one (to my knowledge) published recorded track performance by Motortrend.

I think it's a typo.

Well, since you obviously cannot drive a US-spec Passat TDI at a highway speeds in the stop-and-go traffic of London or Paris, this info is a bit irrelevant, don't you think?
The best TDI you can...

The Euro6 limits for NOx for diesels are 80 mg/km. And "clean" Euro 6 diesels just barely make it.
To put that in perspective, my 1999 IS200 makes 30 mg/km, i.e. about 3 times cleaner than modern...

IMO, Lexus (and Toyota) made excellent choice to develop their hybrid power trains.

They have absolutely no match in terms of refinement, efficiency and low emissions.
