Doesn't take that long. Tap the brake pedal a few times once the battery is disconnected and you should be good to go. Code readers can be had for $60 or less, I personally use the ebay bluetooth...

The ribbed part of the crankshaft pulley along with the outer lip is gone. I didn't know they could fail like that, but I guess that's better than any other way it could've happened.

Hey everyone, I know this is an odd way to introduce myself, but I picked up an 01 IS300 a couple days ago and the first night I had it, I'm pretty sure part of the crankshaft pulley snapped off....
