Well the good news is that I found a lower cover....

Well the good news is that I found a lower cover. I need an upper timing cover now. There's also a sensor to the front of the timing cover (goes in the block) that i'll need along with the pig tail...

Hey people,

I had an issue and I need a lower timing cover for my 95 Lexus ES300.

OR- Any good ideas as to where I can get one.

Also, Is there an affordable place to get A/C compressors?

Mine is just a pain but the front turn signal bulbs and the seperate connector have to be in just the perfect position to power the bulb. Its a very overengineered piece of junk.

If im not mistaken, places like Autozone sells the non-conductive grease-type stuff you can coat the sockets with to guard from corrosion.

I also had the instrument light that came off and on...

It goes up when the wire is energized. When it gets to the top the gears just grind until you stop powering the wire. It goes down when you turn the ignition off.

Mine continually went up and woulddnt stop. I unhooked the harness while it was up so it just stays there all the time. The only way I could make mine work was with a momentary button to raise it...

By a long shot. By the time the paint is blended you would basically repaint the entire car. Id say somewhere around 2500-3000 at the LEAST to chop the tops.
