WOW, $1200 is so low. Locally the car sells privately for 6-13k pending mileage and condition. My brother in law just picked up a GS300 99 for 6k.

The unit is easy enough to replace if you want to just purchase the whole door lock actuator. They run about $90. Cost more but requires less work.

I am getting more than double that amount to put towards the car. Let me put it this way. It is like me selling my car for 11k and using that money to mod a car and get it up to standards.
