They should work with a fender shave and narrower tires (no way they will work with the bulging tires you have pictured however.

For a '01-04 GS430, all the parts stores tensioners show a 102mm pulley diameter (Gates, Hayden, Dayco, Goodyear).

The correct diameter is 90mm which the parts stores show...

Also, why is the GATES tensioner pulley larger than the OEM tensioner pulley, ugh.

I just ordered a replacement tensioner and idler pulley. Will report back soon.
