I agree thomas1...Regardless of what they say the vehicle can tow, I don't think it should be used for towing. Especially when the potential cost of something going wrong is so high.

This post has nothing to do with how to reset the windows.

The OP stated that he reset the windows from each switch and the auto function works as it should...

Why I wouldn't tow with a hybrid.

So I was asked in a private message to share my experience with towing in my RX400h. It isn't a very long story since the vehicle only ever towed a couple times.

My RX didn't even have a hitch...

What a dumb***. I wouldn't be able to let it go. I would drive my car in there and show them the manual and the adjustment bolts....But I am not the type to just let things go. LOL.

You might be able to find just the motors used...but not likely. You definitely cannot buy the motor by itself brand new. It comes from lexus as an all in one unit.

Auto Leveling does not mean there is no adjustment. They have to be adjusted initially and then the auto leveling motor keeps the headlight aimed at that initial height based on how the car is...

Those motors tend to just go bad. I would see if you can't find a couple mirrors off ebay or a junk yard that you can take the motors out of.

They aimed the headlights too low. You can either take it to a dealer and have them aim the headlights higher or there are instructions in the owners manual. You will need a long philips head screw...

RunninRoach....it might work if you tape up all the vents except the one it is in and then turn the fan on high. The crayon might blow to a position where you can pull it out with a clothes hanger....

This is just my guess....But if it is dipping down then the mirror ecu is fine. My guess would be that the actuator is bad and the mirror ecu isn't getting the signals it need from the actuator so...

I agree with Lexus Ladi...i used it a lot last winter when Portland got quite a bit of snow. Helped me brake with less sliding from the tires.

I just traded in my 2006 last month. But I had the original brake pads until 115,000 miles. I hadn't hear the wear indicators yet but new they were toward the end of their life.
