it'll get you around, but it needs replaced pretty soon. So long as no more damage occurs there, it won't hurt anything, but if any damage happens to those cords, the tire could fail

I haven't decided yet. The caps I have are chrome, so they won't match. The wheels are powdercoated, not painted, so painting them to match...

There is a small screen inside where the banjo bolt goes in the valve for the oil feed. It's simple enough to remove it (don't lose the banjo bolt washers) and clean with brake clean....

aside from having an extra half quart of oil in the system, it makes it a whole lot cleaner

p1300 is because the igniter is most likely faulty or a wiring issue.

p1349 is the oil control valve for vvti sticking


Start with replacing the OCV and reset codes, then go from there

1) fuel pumps don't prime in newer cars

2) could have been blown head gasket or a host of other things

its worth it if you have the means...

cold air, exhaust, cams, tune, throttle body and other bolt ons will only get you about 200-220 wheel horsepower (they dyno 175ish stock).

that's a lot of money...

Without knowing exactly what is going on with pressures and actual temperature at the vent, it is impossible to even guess.

There is a systems test every time you start the car.

It isn't a terrible idea to go make sure it works from time to time anyways though. Just wait til a rainy day...
