My 99 RX300 has 224,000 miles on it and I have never had to replace parts in order to maintain alignment. Whenever I develop shudder under braking it is always fixed by replacing only the rotors.

Flat spot? BS. What happens is that the solenoid contact wears out. The part is $7 and can be easily replaced, but the dealers won't do it; they insist on selling you an entire starter.

I replaced the rear valve cover on my 1999 RX with the newer design. The old one is taking up space on my workbench; anybody need it? Free for the cost of shipping.
