You're saying that I guy who likes sports cars should be OK with a "sedate" daily driver? Me thinks you have things backwards. I have a sports car, too, but that doesn't mean I want my "practical"...

Good for them. Now, will someone point me to the rule that says only "positive" opinions are allowed, in here?

"Don't deviate from the cool crowd. You'll be attacked as an ahole."

It sure does. IMO, the F-sport package is a poor value for the money. If someone's really going to drive it hard, the active suspension is nice, but for any normal street driving the "luxury" is...

You're not in denial, the other guy is delusional. AWD just isn't needed, generally. People got by for decades without it, and now everyone thinks they need it.

I could see it, if it's very...

Better than the drooling over such sillyness. Wheel travel reduced to 3/4", front lip 2 inches off the road, and for what? Cartoonish looks?

Go with a "square" setup, too. The IS isn't powerful-enough to need "meats" in the back. It's just a fashion statement.

On the other hand, at least the stick is always in the same place. When turning, the paddles are turned and not accessible.

Yep. IS350 RWD in MN, here. Better and cheaper than AWD. A pretty easy choice, for me.

I find the stock all-seasons are adequate for cold weather driving, and very light snow, even with RWD. I have a "beater" with snow tires (a RWD BMW) that I drive on the really sloppy or icy days.

Idjit.

"Super downs", too. At least you're consistent. How do you like that 3/4 wheel travel?

P.S. My Supra TT came with 9.5" wheels and 255's in the back, and it's a more powerful car.

How would they do that? Generally it's a trade-off between handing (stiffer) and ride (softer). I suppose it might be possible for a progressively-would spring to do both, but I'd have to "see...

I'm concerned about someone opening their door and "dinging" mine, but I've never even HEARD of someone's mirror being damaged while parked.
