Why would an extra 80 some horsepower cost an extra $40k or so? I can't wrap my head around that figure. Would a turbo, an intercooler, bigger brakes, and perhaps revised transmission cooler, cost...

I would be incredibly skeptical of your planning and hesitant to spend my money if you introduce a new powertrain 1 yr into my ownership and only charge slightly more. I would understand if this was...

On some level, I think Lexus is being handcuffed by the LFA. Imagine telling the 500 or so owners of their 2yr old $400k supercar has less HP than the guy with the $80k car? Yes yes it's an out of...

Probably be a bit less than 300hp. This is a truck application that requires more low end torque to tow a heavier load.

Pretty much doubt the V10 in the LFA will be competitive with 550hp. It takes the LFA 3.7 secs 0-60. Imagine strapping 400 to 500 extra lbs to that engine? Plus I doubt the engine will rev as...

Similar to the GM twins. Either slightly above or slightly below. It's a smaller engine so torque numbers prob not as high, even with the D4S system.

Depends on what Toyota's definition of new is. The 270hp 4.0 from the 4runner can be considered new since it was never in the Taco. May have missed it, but didn't read anything about confirmation...

According to Jeremy Clarkson, the RCF is some sort of understeering pig. A bit of paraphrasing here, but that's the impression I got. Hope the GSF isn't the case, but then with 4 doors and more...

I'm sure 500+ hp from the 5.0 isn't hard. High revving engines is a Yamaha forte. However, its a 2 ton vehicle and the available torque is already at the high end of the RPM range in its current...

This would just make the 4.6L V8 completely obsolete. Sure it has slightly more torque, but much thirstier. It will most likely get the 270hp 4.0 V6 from the 4runner mated to a 6 speed.
