Yeah I would pull off the head so you can clean it all up and replace the head gasket. That way you can put it back together correctly with new valve cover seals and button up the throttle body, etc....

Sounds like he's referring to oil filling up the spark plug holes (ontop of the spark plugs?). Sounds like you have a valve cover gasket leak.
